Kazbegi & Gergeti: a Private Mountain Journey
Follow the Georgian Military Highway to the Greater Caucasus, with a return 4WD ride to Gergeti included. A private minivan day for up to six guests, around 12–13 hours.
The mountains unfold gradually through Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri and the road to Gudauri. After a meal break in Stepantsminda, take a prebooked local 4WD to Gergeti Trinity Church and enjoy time around the upper site. An English-speaking guide accompanies the day. This is not a hiking tour. Mountain access and viewpoints depend on weather and official road conditions; any necessary alternative is explained by the team.
Itinerary
Tbilisi → Zhinvali and Ananuri → Gudauri viewpoint when safe → Stepantsminda lunch break → return 4WD to Gergeti → Tbilisi.
