Matenadaran: Manuscripts & a Colours Workshop
See the colours and stories of Armenian manuscripts, then make a small artwork inspired by them. One workshop within a relaxed four-hour visit.
A guided museum visit introduces the scribes, artists and communities behind the manuscripts. Look closely at colour, ornament and the materials of the page before joining a hands-on workshop inspired by this visual tradition. Afterwards, enjoy free time in the café and shop at your own expense. English or Russian guiding is available; Chinese-language service requires a separate quotation. The usual visiting days are Tuesday–Saturday, subject to confirmation.
Itinerary
Meet at Matenadaran → guided museum visit → short break → Colours of Armenian Manuscripts workshop → café and souvenir-shop free time → finish at the museum. About 4 hours.
