Private Svaneti: Mestia, Chalaadi & Ushguli in Four Days
Three nights in one Mestia guesthouse, two days with a local Svan guide and time for mountain villages and a short valley walk. Designed for 2, 4 or 6 guests.
Enter Svaneti gradually on the road from Tbilisi, stopping at Enguri Dam before settling into Mestia. Explore its towers and Margiani House Museum with a local English-speaking Svan guide, then walk an established trail in the Chalaadi Valley. A full day by local 4WD is reserved for Ushguli and a home-style lunch. Days 1 and 4 are long road-transfer days; local guided experiences take place on Days 2 and 3. The Chalaadi walk is about 3 km return, with no approach onto the exposed glacier forefield.
Itinerary
Day 1: Tbilisi → Enguri Dam → Mestia guesthouse.
Day 2: Mestia towers, Margiani House Museum and Chalaadi Valley by local 4WD and short walk.
Day 3: 4WD day to Ushguli, local guiding and home-style lunch.
Day 4: breakfast and return to Tbilisi. Days 2 and 3 may swap for conditions.

Meeting point
